The Dexter Prize Speaking Contest has a long and storied history at Worcester Academy and has flourished in recent years with support from an alumnus, Hervey Ross '46. Dexter Prize participants speak for roughly five minutes to an audience of more than 500 students. The contest, held three times a year, includes cash prizes for the winners.
