Paxton's Derek Comeau contributes to Worcester Academy's Prep School Baseball Championship Win

2017 Jul 17

Worcester Academy's Varsity Baseball Team enjoyed a successful 2017 season, winning the Central New England Prep School Baseball League/Thomas Blackburn Championship Tournament. The WA Team won with a 5 - 2 victory over Phillips Academy Andover to earn its second championship in three years.

Contributing to the championship win was team member Derek Comeau of Paxton, Grade: 12.

Like many Worcester Academy students, Derek has excelled both on and off the field while also embracing the Academy's Core Values: Honor, Respect, Community, Personal Growth, and Challenge. Derek has built camaraderie, developed strategies for competition, and learned valuable lessons about achieving goals through Worcester Academy's athletic program.

In fact, many graduates credit the Worcester Academy experience for their successes in life.
