2017 Apr 26

Worcester Academy's Varsity Girls Ice Hockey Team enjoyed a successful 2017 season, winning the NEPSAC Division II Championship last month. It was the first time the team made it to the finals since the program was begun six years ago.

Among the team members contributing to the success of the Girls Ice Hockey Team was Sheila Gadbois of Southborough, Grade 11.

Like many Worcester Academy students, Sheila has excelled both on and off the field while also embracing the Academy's Core Values: Honor, Respect, Community, Personal Growth, and Challenge. Sheila has built camaraderie, developed strategies for competition, and learned valuable lessons about achieving goals through Worcester Academy's athletic program.

In fact, many graduates credit the Worcester Academy experience for their successes in life.
