West Boylston's Mariano Ricciardi contributes to Worcester Academy's Prep School Baseball Championship Win

Worcester Academy's Varsity Baseball Team enjoyed a successful 2017 season, winning the Central New England Prep School Baseball League/Thomas Blackburn Championship Tournament. The WA Team won with a 5 - 2 victory over Phillips Academy Andover to earn its second championship in three years.

Contributing to the championship win was team member Mariano Ricciardi of West Boylston, Grade: 12.

Like many Worcester Academy students, Mariano has excelled both on and off the field while also embracing the Academy's Core Values: Honor, Respect, Community, Personal Growth, and Challenge. Mariano has built camaraderie, developed strategies for competition, and learned valuable lessons about achieving goals through Worcester Academy's athletic program.
